EMU- 92xx (SDI) and 95xx (HDMI)

Description

The BLANKOM EMU-92xx (SDI) and EMU-95xx (HDMI) series of IPTV encoders, an IRENIS brand product, are detailed in this preliminary datasheet from November 2022. These encoders offer input options of 4/8/12×HD-SDI or HDMI (1.4) inputs, supporting HDCP 1.4. Video encoding is offered in HEVC/h.265 and MPEG 4 h.264 AVC formats with a Chroma of 4:2:0. Resolutions for HDMI V1 and SDI include various configurations of 1080p, 1080i, and 720p, while the HDMI V2 resolution supports 3840×2160p30 and 3840×2160p29.97. Specifically, for HDMI V2, h.265 encodes 4 channels per module, and h.264 encodes 2 channels. The bitrate for each channel ranges from 0.5Mbps to 20Mbps, using CBR/VBR rate control, and the video correction features include De-interlacing, Noise Reduction, and Sharpening. Audio encoding formats are MPEG-1 Layer 2, LC-AAC, HE-AAC, HE-AAC V2, and AC3 Passthrough, with a 48KHz sampling rate. Stream output is provided over UDP/RTP/RTSP per module, offering 1 MPTS and a maximum of 4 SPTS, accessible through a 1000/100MBase-T Ethernet interface supporting unicast/multicast and IPv4/IPv6. The system is managed via a web-based interface, which is also used for firmware updates. The unit is a 19″ 1RU device with dimensions of 482×328×44mm, an approximate weight of 5kg, and is powered by AC 100V-220V±10%, 50/60Hz.
