This cost-effective, energy-efficient obstruction lighting solution is available in universal DC (12-48VDC) or universal AC (110-240VAC) and features user-adjustable intensity for ICAO LIOL Type A (10cd) or Type B (32cd), user-adjustable operation modes, an alarm contact, and LED technology that reduces maintenance. Optional features include solar configurations, combined visual/IR visibility for pilots using night vision, an RS422/485 communications port for monitoring and synchronization of the DC version, and GSM monitoring.

The MKR-LTG2-0IR Double Obstruction Light integrates visible Red LED and Infrared Emitters into a double L-810(L). Infrared energy (IR) can enhance compatibility for Aviator’s Night Vision Imaging Systems (ANVIS) and Night Vision Goggles (NVG). Precision molded Fresnel Optics produce a low ground scatter tower lighting solution. Die cast aluminum construction provides a 3/4 inch conduit hub for bottom mounting. Multiple 9kA MOVs and 20kA gas plasma discharge tubes provide robust surge suppression.
